Ratifying Resolution

Mechanical System Upgrade - Volunteer Pool

Report No. 2012.050 (Construction/ Renovation Services) will be presented to the Committee of the Whole to be held earlier in the evening.

Pending the passage of the resolution at the Committee of the Whole meeting, to be held earlier in the evening, the resolution will be presented for ratification and under Council's policy will require a two-thirds vote.

With respect to Report No. 2012.050 (Construction & Renovation), we recommend that Tender No. 008-2012, for the Mechanical System upgrades at Volunteer Pool, be awarded to A Villeneuve Mechanical Ltd. in the amount of $751,563.00 inclusive of all taxes;

At the March 12, 2012 City Council meeting, a Notice of Motion to Amend the resolution relative to Report No. 2012.027 (Accounting & Budgets) - 2012 Operating and Capital Budget, passed at the February 21, 2012 Committee of the Whole meeting and ratified by City Council on March 5, 2012, was introduced by Councillor A. Foulds, and is now ready for debate.
