Earthwise Trademark

Report No. 2012.087 (Environment) recommending that the City of Thunder Bay enter into an agreement with Cambridge and North Dumfries Energy Solutions Inc. to transfer and assign the EarthWiseŽ Trademark to the City, subject to the terms and conditions recommended in this Report. That City Council recommend against increasing the size of regulated areas for Emerald Ash Borer, to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The result of this change in regulation would negatively impact the City of Thunder Bay and Northern Ontario by allowing the movement of infested firewood within this expanded quarantined area;

AND THAT they request support from the Northern Ontario Municipal Association and regional municipalities, and that a copy of this motion be sent to related MPs and MPPs.
